So I just found this SWR Goliath Jr III and Son of Bertha in pretty great condition. The two cabs would cost me $519 plus tax.

They aren’t the lightest cabs around by today’s standards, but definitely lighter and smaller than my Eden 210xlt. So would you walk or grab them?

Great cabs. I’d gladly pay $350 for the pair.

Yeah I’ve been looking at used prices all morning and it seems the big-box music store that I work at is VERY proud of it’s used SWR gear. Even with my employee discount (15% off used gear), I’d still be paying more than market value. We also have a 4ohm Goliath III and a pretty beat up looking Henry the 8x8... both overpriced

I have a bunch of SWR gear. I wish it was worth more. I think a GIII is worth 200-250 these days. The good news is (if you buying, not selling) it’s great gear, and you can get it for next to nothing.

Certainly nothing that I would buy. That said, if you like what the boxes do for you go ahead. :)

Pros: Super clean. Those look like they've been in a dark closet for a decade.

    Cons: price is unreasonable.

To add: if you do end up getting these cabinets, stack them on their ends so that all the drivers are aligned vertically. :)
