Another bass needing id

    Hey guys this is my first time venturing to the double bass side of tb. So I came across this bass years ago it needed some talc ( back was separating from body) repair was made and I enjoy playing it but I have no idea what kind or how old it is or what it's worth. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Only clue is a sticker inside that says made in Czechoslovakia.

    Factory bass made for import to USA. What it's worth depends on if it's ply, hybrid or fully carved and its condition. My amateur eye says ply bass...

    Good condition definately not mint and yes it is ply.

    I believe there are some older plys for sale in the classifieds. See what they are asking. If it sounds good and doesn't need any major work, I'd say $1.5-2k. Also depends on the market where you're selling it.
