This doesn't make sense: If your head delivers 350 watts @ 4 ohms, then it ought to deliver significantly more wattage at only 2 ohms.

Yes, the addition of another 4 ohm cabinet should definitely make your entire rig sound louder...

Are you sure that it goes down to 2 ohms?

I checked the on-line manual and it only mentions 4 ohms.

    But anyway,

Adding an identical speaker will give you about 3bd more volume and a bigger presence. Well worth it if your amp can handle 2 ohms.

If you double your power I believe you will get about the same increase in volume.

If your amp cannot handle a 2 ohm load amd you run it at 2 ohms you run a very real risk of damaging it. Permanently.

    Good luck.

yes, i emailed with a guy from ebs and he says:

Yes, the HD350 can handle speaker loads down to 2 ohms, unless you get hold on one of the first HD350s.
The continuous maximum output power is still 350W, however the dynamic output power will increase.

so then i have 175 split up over 2 cabs of 400 watt

    does it make sense?
