Another E string woe on a Fender MM

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Youngspanion, Sep 28, 2005.

  1. I'm sure I've read this before here onT.B. But now its me. Saturday night during a blues jam, My e stiring was way louder than the A,D or G. This has prompted me to (through the advice of Nino) to lower the bass side of my pups. The neck pup is as low as it can go because I cant lower one end without the whole thing lowering. I was able to lower the Bridge pup on the bass side.
    It hasn't helped.

Now I'm thinking G and L 2000 or Sadowski pups and a new preamp with vintage tone control.

Anyone with a thought on this?
Anyone with this problem and has solved it?
    Thanks all.
