Just figured I'd bray about this one. It's an Elrick E-volution 4 string. Crotch Walnut over Swamp Ash with matching headstock. Maple neck with Bubinga fretboard. Dual Bartolini J's,3 band Bartolini EQ, mid select switch, active/passive switch. I'm not even sure how to describe this bass. Ever play a bass with massive, almost dub-like lows AND midrange punch and then, just by changing technique... cuts like crazy when you slap? I have. This is easily one of the most ridiculous 4 strings I've played. Doesn't sound like anything else I own either. Super articulate. Plays itself, no fret noise, just big notes. And it weighs practically nothing... it feels slightly heavier than wearing just the strap. OTOH it sure doesn't sound light. World class stuff.
