I've been on a search for quite awhile now for the perfect (for me) 5 string. Last year, I decided that a Lakland 55-02 was "the one". After playing it for a year, I've decided that the 35" scale just doesn't agree with me, nor is the 19mm string spacing my friend. So, without further ado, I humbly seek the outstanding advice of my fellow Talkbassers based upon my specs after over a year of research. 5 string 34" scale bolt-on 24 frets (medium or medium jumbo) 17 or 18 mm string spacing MM/J or J/J configuration (no soapbars) Not too picky about active or passive $1000 or under Thinnish neck like the Lakland Any advice is greatly appreciated.
