Another Model J / Audere question...

I did a search and read through some of the Model J/Audere posts, but did not see something answered that I was wondering. Audere is supposed to be a (mostly) solderless system - for those of you who have this set up, and are running series, did you still solder the black and white wire together for each pickup? And am I correct in that you do this for each pickup? In other words, don't solder all of the black and white wires together from both the neck and bridge pickups, correct? The preamp comes with the crimping deal for the bridge ground - could I use something similar on the black and white wires as well?

Thanks - just making sure I am doing this right. I am in possession of the pickups, the preamp is in the mail.
