Hey, this is my first post here. This is a great bass site, it's almost the only place I go for Tabs. Anywho I have a question. I have a Fender Mexican Precision 4 string. I am looking at either the Wahburn XB125 5 string or the Fender Squire P bass 5 string. Which would you suggest? I am leaning towards the Washburn. Thanks if you can help.

Welcome to TalkBass. Just don't post asking for tabs on here and you'll be good :p. Don't know much about Washburn, but the Squier (my first bass) that I bought was one of the best built basses I've seen. That thing can take a beating. It might need new pickups to sound decent, but it's very durable.

    Hope this helps

I'd go for the squier. I tried on of the 5'ers the other day just for the heck of it and I was very impressed.

Go for the squier. Thats my opinion. I have one, it plays very well. Solid bass, except for tuners, but....squier.
