I like wood as much as the next bass player but that is ridiculous.

I knew what that atrocity was inspired by before I read the description.

I really like the way they made the fretboard with the maple and bloodwood, but the body is a little too radical for me.

It's not too bad, actually. Way too overpowering for me, but it's not bad. I've seen one other Frenz bass, and I REALLY liked it. Wasn't at all the same, but it was definitely a cool looking bass.

  8. Why desecrate trees like that?

I'd certainly rather be seen with that then a Wishnevsky :)

  11. I think it would look alot cooler w/ Les stading behind it. I've seen other raindbow bass immitations that looked a lot nicer.

rock on JD! ill join ya. I actually think that thing is really cool looking. a little extreme, but thats the way i like it. It still has a "classy" vibe to it, yet kinda overkill. i like it. not a fan of that huge paddle like headstock, i think it would look much better with a smaller paddle style, or maybe a streamlined 3+3 "blunt arrowhead" a-la ibanez, warmoth, etc. i think its really cool, and would classify it as a work of functional art. beautiful piece!

or as i stated in another thread erlier....

that is one nice piece of bASS!
