Hi, In case this looks familiar, I posted this ad about 9 months ago. The deal fell through and I'm just now getting around to re-posting. Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass in off-white with a black pickguard and black binding. This is the Non-export MIJ full-scale model. It's 6 years old and I bought it directly from Japan. These differ from the US version in the color choices, the inclusion of a pickguard, and the use of fretmarkers. I paid $950 to have this sent to me from Japan, and that was without the hardshell case I'm including in this sale. The bass plays beautifully, looks fantastic, and has an amazing range of sounds for a passive bass. I'm selling because I rarely play electric and I have 2 other electrics that are also way underplayed. As soon as I got it I strung it with DÂ’'Addario flatwounds, so there's very little wear on this bass! The pickguard has a few playing swirls. Their is one ding on the body, where your right arm touches the top of the bass (where no one will see it, except maybe you). This is shown in the second to last pic. The Japan non-export Fenders are VERY well crafted basses. Comes with a used but very nice Canadian made hard shell case that is "Fender-like". Ships well packed and insured. For sale only - not interested in trades. $750.00 shipped. Thanks, Paul (Eh_train)
Hey I remember this from the spring...and remember wanting it back then! Hopefully a good deal comes through this time for you. It's a gorgeous bass. GLWYS!
Hi, Hopefully these pics work. The last one shows the ding. It's about a half inch long, and hard for anyone to see when you're playing the bass.
A pic of the back, and the "Fender-ish" case that it'll be shipped in. It's a very clean bass that needs to be played! Cheers, Paul (eh_train)
STILL an excellent holiday gift (but you'll need to hurry!). Remember, this is a MIJ non-export model. This finish is very rare in North America!
Yes, it's ANOTHER price drop - $625, shipped to you. A few people have indicated they're not interested in the case, so this is for the bass alone, shipped with the neck detached. (note, it's coming from Canada, and our shipping costs tend to be higher than in the U.S.). Happy to answer any questions you might have. Cheers, Paul (eh_train)
