Another question about my B100R: Casters

As most B100R owners would agree, casters greatly aid in the transport of this portly little amp.

I found some casters laying around my house, but I would like to know the length/width of the screws used to hold in the "official" ampeg casters.

    Thanks.

The Ampeg casters are mounted on a shaft about 1/4" in diameter with a small ring at the top so they 'snap' in and out of sockets on the amp. They are not permanently attached to the rig.

If you don't want to use those, make a dolly-board about 1 - 1.5" thick and the same size as the amp base, screw the casters to the bottom and set the amp on the board; hold the amp on with straps if needed.
