I have been going to the StewMac site lately. I love looking at tools and they have some really happening tools there. My wife likes looking at them too. She likes to tinker as much as I do. She knows I am going to be soldering some new pots on my bass and I know she would like to do it. Some women can spend hours in the mall. My wife likes going to hardware stores. One more reason I love that woman.
I am also blessed as my wife is very mechanical, good with tools and is not afraid to use them. Her father, who was an aerospace engineer, only had daughters so he taught her well. She prefers to get her hands dirty doing a project than going to the mall. Thank god for that.
You guys have great wives. I do, too, even though she pretends she isn't mechanically inclined. She does like hardware stores, but she leaves the repairs to me. She pays attention to what I do and I am sure she could do the jobs as well, or better, than I do, but she let's me do the stuff and praises the results.
My wife just looks really good all the time. She's smart and has good ideas. She tolerates my gigging life. I AM lucky.
My wife is smarter and better at stuff than I am. Time has proven this. But she still lets me be the man and fix stuff, which is nice.
You done made her yours? No TalkBass Thread of the event. I hope you were able to put tort in the decor somehow.
