Just brought this back from the UK ... Shergold Marathon, late 70s. I had one of these in the 80s and always wanted another one. So now I'm happy :smug:

Plays beautifully - warm, and a bit clanky. It's all original and in great nick except for the usual Shergold finish cracking. No vomit or blood.
    :bag:

I'd start a Shergold club, 'cept you just never know who'd join.

Cool. Nice looking bass. I have a Hayman 40/40, Shergold's older brother.
Does your bass have the zero fret?

Heh... I'd like to join in but I had my Modulator stolen after just two gigs! I bought it on HP and still had to pay for it for two years. Going way back in time now!

Yep. Sure does. Also has the stereo pickup, with a mono-stereo selector switch. Cool :bassist:
