Did the search, did the Google, asked StewMac, got nada. So now I'm relying on the good people at TB.

I need a truss rod. StewMac has two that I am interested in. First is a Martin-style U-channel rod, 23 1/8". (See it here: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Truss_rods/Adjustable_truss_rods/Martin_Adjustable_Truss_Rod.html).

Second is a Hot-Rod, 24" long. (See it here: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Truss_rods/Hot_Rod_Truss_Rod/2/Hot_Rod_Truss_Rods.html)

I'm leaning toward the Hot-Rod, but before I lay my good money down, I need to know whether the advertised lengths include the nut (which on both rods appears to be about an inch long). I just want my measurements to be accurate before I commit.

Hearing nothing, I will go for the 24" Hot Rod and will post my measurements when it arrives.

Don't know about Stew Mac rods, but the Lmii rod is 22 3/4 from tip to tip...at least, that's what their website says.

Having just received this exact truss rod over the weekend, I can finally post a reply ...

The Hot Rod truss rod you linked is 24" at the extreme end-to-end. If you measure from brass block to brass block (outside dimension), it's 23-1/4" long.

    Anything else?

    All the best,
