Another "Which should i buy" thread

    ok, im gonna get a new bass. i basically have a choice of 2(maybe 3).
    should i buy:
    a Ventura Fretless (£167)
    or a Encore/Vintage.EST96 ($145)
    or(possible third option) a Peavey Dyna
    any help is much appreciated

    also, the Vintage looks kinda like a stingray (i think), a link to it is Vintage EST96

    I'd go with the Peavey. In that price range, all you can get are entry level knockoffs. The Dyna is a pretty good instrument and should last you a long time.

    i think that i will buy a dyna, but should i get a four or five string.

    also, to anyone that owns or has played a Dyna, do the strings buzz off the frets much.

    A proper setup should take care of strings buzzing off the frets.

    Whether to get the 4 or 5? That's a very personal decision that you will have to make for yourself.

    I would get the 5, but you may not have any use for the extra string.
