Anti-Flag and Essex Jazz Bass

    I am absolutly in love with this dude's tone, especially in "Angry Young and Poor". So anyway I know this dude uses a jazz and want one but I have no money at all....so can I gets his tone with and Essex Jazz SJB-62??

  2. He uses a jazz? Wow, I never could get the right tone for that on my jazz. A P with both knobs on full did the trick for me, but I guess I'm stupid for getting rid of my jazz in that case.

    A lot of the pics I seen, he has a black jazz with maple neck and block inlays.

    A lot of the pics I've seen, he uses an EB stingray or Sterling; I'm not exactly sure.

    Now that you mention it, It does sound almost Stingray-ish....have't dealt with Rays or Jazzes very much.

    I've heard that he used a Stingray for recording Underground Network, from a few reliable sources.
