Anti-Rattle mod for cabs w/metal grilles

    I've taken to putting the loop (soft) part of velcro on the stand-offs for cabinets with metal grilles. It sticks to the stand-off via the adhesive and the velcro acts as an anti-rattle medium. I think it also acts as a bit of a compression/lock washer which helps prevent the fastener from coming loose. it works particularly well on cabs that have a piece of wooden trim on the entire outside edge of the cabinet.

    I used to use felt disks (like the kind you stick on the bottom of jewelry boxes and lamps), but this should work equally well if not better.

    Inner tube! The duct tape of the rubber world. Above idears are probably less fiddely, but your neighbor's kid's bike has two inner tubes ripe for the taking :laugh:
