I have been very interested in Carl Thompson's basses for the past couple of years and have visited the CT basses web site often.
I am very interested in his luthier methods. I have never had the opportunity to see an actual CT in person only in pics on the web.
What I would like to know is this: What is the body thickness of a typical CT bass ? Most basses would be from about 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" or so but it almost seems from the pics of CTs that his basses might be thinner maybe around 1 1/4" to 1 3/8".
I know that maybe I should post this in the Luthier section but I am hoping more people will see it here in the general basses section and maybe someone who is familiar with Carl Thompsons will respond. Thanks.
