Any Ernie Ball Basses Without Dot Inlays?

I love my Ernie Ball Stingray, but the only thing that ever so slightly bugs me about it is the standard run of the mill dot inlays. I guess my tastes have been changing, dot inlays have been a real turn off to me lately.

Has Ernie Ball ever had basses with block inlays or without inlays at all?

I've been looking into Sterlings... and was curious about the inlays as well. Can't quite wrap my head around a Stingray w/blocks (or anything else)... but I'd like to see one!

I just remembered that someone on TB has an Ernie Ball bass with martini glass inlays which is pretty damn cool.

    The Bongo has crescents...

...and yes, the "Dargie Delight" LEs have martini glasses.

That is the LE Dargie Delight you speak of. The martini inlays only came on basses in that finish. I believe that only about 500 were made.

270 odd Dargies were made. That's both guitars and basses.

Easy fix. Get a fretless EB. No dots.

They should really have that as an option for their fretted basses as well.
  9. Check out the link in my sig. Look ma, no dots!

Ever?? Yes, but only for endorsing artists, they don't make them like that for us joe-blow guys.

That is the one thing missing from Ernie Ball, more fretboard choices.
Who are some EB artists that have the unique fretboards?

  13. I wish EBMM had a 'Your Name Here' inlay option.

Not so much the inlay message but the body art.
