    Hello,

I am in front of a terrific reality... I studied german for 7, yes, 7 !! years in high school, and 3 after my baccalaureat (french high school diploma). But I can't speak a simple word, really. :scowl: You know, french are bad foreign languages speakers... Languages lessons in high school just suck, in France... But anyway...

Would some gentle german people here indicate me a good german speaking bass forum ? I think I really improved my english speaking with english speaking forums, so why not german ? I'll try, anyway, wait and see if it will be effective... :meh:

    Thanks !

And you spelled it wrong! It's "Schnell"

Don't sell yourself short, though. Everyone knows "Gesundheit"! ;)

My wife is a pretty fluent German speaker, and I'm marginal. I know enough to embarass myself. Never realized how marginal it was until I went to Bayern (Barvaria) an struggled with the accents.

To be funny, I try to say "romantic" things to my wife in German like "wollen sie meine schw**z?" or "Ich muerte deine ar$$". You always seem to learn and remember the bad words first.

    Tschus

  14. Sieg Heil indeed. ;)
Listening to Rammstein is good for improving German, I've found.

  15. Oh yeah, thats sexy......wollen......eww :spit:

Probier "LmaA" mahl, aber sage es nicht in Deutschland. Ich war einmal im Düsseldorf, und sagte es zu einem Freund, und die Leute wissen was es bedeutet :D

  17. LOL Very romantic... :D

Hmmm, all I know is what is pronounced Oktune (tell me how to spell that and what it means please,) Shnel (I think that's spelled wrong too,) and Spreken ze deutch (I know that's wrong.)

Wait a minute I know a little more!

    Das is klasse.
    Du werdenst eine krakenschweister brachen.

Now all of that is spelled wrong, but do you know what i'm trying to say?

German is quite a romantic language isn't it.

Imagine a soft porn love scene from a cheesy movie:

English: Oh yeah baby. In your bra and panties - I like it, it's good..

French: Oui, oui mon cheri. Dans votre bra et culottes - je l'aime, il est bon.

Spanish: Si senorita. En su bra y bragas - tengo gusto de él, él soy bueno.

German: Yaa meine liebschen. In ihrem bustenhalten und Schlüpfer - ich mag es, es bin gut.

    :D

For better effect say each one of these lines to your significant other, using the appropriate accent and see what gets the best reaction.
    :D
