Hey, I have a chance to get me an Aria Pro II RSB Deluxe-2 bass from circa '85. Made in Japan, black, gold hardware, somekind of a humbucker with "P-coils" in neck and J pup in the bridge position etc. - in good condition. It looks decent and I know Japanese basses of that era should be nice but I have no way of trying it out. It's going for 300 bucks with HSC, anyone seen one of these and thinks it's worth the cash?
I passed up one for 50.00 $,i did'nt like how it played.it was in 8 out of 10 condition but it's just not a Fender
If it is the one I am thinking of, a neck-thru design, they are nice. I have played several. Very nice workmanship and fit and finish. Pro-quality. They sound good too. Check for neck warp and fret wear. I have seen a few on the used market out here in Japan for around $400.00 US. Some of them have bad tuners. -Aladdin
the bass i can buy is an Aria Pro II RSB Straycat, its 50.00 but needs a pot for both volume and tone. i think me buy today REVISED 2.0 hrs later. I broke down and bought it,i got it for 35.00 with original case and candy still intact,i got it home and gave it a good once over.ME LIKEY
