    Hey,

I have a chance to get me an Aria Pro II RSB Deluxe-2 bass from circa '85. Made in Japan, black, gold hardware, somekind of a humbucker with "P-coils" in neck and J pup in the bridge position etc. - in good condition. It looks decent and I know Japanese basses of that era should be nice but I have no way of trying it out.

It's going for 300 bucks with HSC, anyone seen one of these and thinks it's worth the cash?

If it is the one I am thinking of, a neck-thru design, they are nice. I have played several. Very nice workmanship and fit and finish. Pro-quality. They sound good too. Check for neck warp and fret wear. I have seen a few on the used market out here in Japan for around $400.00 US.

Some of them have bad tuners.

Nice! $35 dollars with a case is an insanely great deal.
