Any help...question about those damn OLP basses

    I'm looking to get an OLP stingray 4 as my next bass (i need a rough sounding bass that would be perfect for punk rock and fat tones) but theres one thing thats really bothering me. I keep seeing these basses (yes the OLP kind) on sale on Ebay in Silver color with a black pick guard, but all the places i know that sell them (sam ash, musicains fried, for example) sell them only in black w/ white pick guard or pearl blue with white pick guard...if anyone can tell me where to get the silver with black pickguard i would really appreciate it..Im really looking for that musicman underwrite, it seems like the perfect bass for me...also, if anyone knows another company that does musicman style basses for under 500, i might consider that..especially if they can sell it in a decent color.

    or u could save up for a little while longer and get a real stingray for like 700-900 used.......
