one thing I know about arias is that I have played a namedly "aria custom" 5 string which was absolutely faboulous for the price tag on it.

Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

I've been playing on an Aria since my first days on bass. and for a while I despised it. I gave it its first real set up last week. re-filed/polished the frets, some nobs were loose as were some pots, everything was oiled, new strings, the frets/ nut doesnt cut my hand anymore and now I have trouble putting it down. I'll be investing in a new bridge/tuners/pups as well between now and xmas. I have the passive poopier version of that bass, at that price it's a good deal!
    Hope this helped.

P.S. doesn't the FB look a little dark for rosewood?
