Any information on a German Flatback?

I bought this bass about six years ago. I am just looking for any information anyone may have as to origin or possible build era or anything to give me any insight. What style is it or anything else some of you guys may know. I love the bass. Right now I have it set up with Barefoot Larry's Hillbilly Slap Strings, I really want to try something different on it someday. I think I will have it professionally set up as well.

Just a few more. Inside is a label that simply says, "Made in Germany".
