They come out with a 610 and a few months later there will be a 415.
Only 140dB? If it was capable of 195dB I'd be interested.
Since the D800 amps can handle 2 Ohms, such a cabinet would make two D800+ heads driving four 610 cabinets almost loud enough to be the best rig for metal.
Seriously though, I bet a traditional style 610, or 810 Subway cabinet would sell. One of these days I might buy a D800+ and one or two Subway cabs myself.
Weighs 21lb with a sensitivity of 106dB 1w/1m?
so six tens and taller than an SVT cab?
why again do we want that?
Needs more cowbell.
Call it the LTP........ cab. ................leaning tower of Piza..................bah dum bump
maybe a vertical 410 would be more desirable
or a 610 like barefaced
140dB..... That would kill people at 50 feet.
@agedhorse Will probably have some fun facts to add here.
He's already liked a few comments above, so his wheels may be turning as we speak, or he's laughed himself to sleep, or he's in his workspace cobbling together an epic 610 while indulging in some adult beverages this New Years Eve. It is only 8:42 pm here on the west coast as I type this.
It might be a great cabinet, but I fear they have some millennials running the Marketing department, to allow those silly hashtags.
It's interesting to see the different needs and priorities from different players. The comments are quite helpful, since many of you are the demographic that would consider these kinds of cabinets in general.
@Killed_by_Death haha, that was my poor attempt at trying to be ‘current’ or as they said back in my day ‘hip’
...I used to work with a younger drummer who seemed to speak hashtag quite fluently...
Happy New Year all!!! (Even though it’s in a couple hours for us on the west coast)
I think a 6x10 makes an ideal studio bass cabinet.
Would probably prefer stacking three 2x10s for any sort of portable application. Or six 1x10?
What about a 10x10?
By 'demographic' do you mean aging geezers with chronic back pain?
5.33 ohm 3x12 tower
4 ohm 8x8
8 ohm 2x15+8
