There are tons of discussions about the OC-2 and other analog and digital octaves, but almost nothing about the Mu-Tron Octadivider. I get that the original is expensive and rare, but the new one is somewhat more accessible. So why aren’t we talking about it? How is it? How does it track on bass? And since were talking about octaves... can if do the OC-2 thing? (Kidding!!!)
I had a Byoc divided octave (mutron clone) which was possibly my favourite octave pedal ever until it broke, and I can get pretty close with my Foxrox Octron. I think the lack of love is that originals are long since discontinued and the recent reissues are, in my opinion, REALLY expensive. Not too far off $300, which makes it prohibitive for alot of people to risk dropping the money on, especially for a pedal that they might only use sparingly.
