Any of you use silver solder?

    I noticed they have it on parts express for some high end connectors. I was wondering if anyone uses it and if it's good for bass cables.

    oh, yeah. good stuff. It's good for resisting corrosion. Definitely get some.

    Silver solder is okay but I prefer the SnPb 63-37 eutectic-type solder. I like to make solder connections with as little heat as possible while still wetting the conductors well and making a high-quality connection.
