Probably the best looking Frankenstein bass I've ever seen!
This may help explaining the provenance. Looks to me this is an instrument inspired by a Tobias -early 90's- or modified Toby -not sure how the Logo inlay was added- with upgraded with Ken Smith hardware and Schaller tuners. Mike's basses have flat (horizontal) tuners, these are angled like in a Warwick Thumb. The control layout is similar to a Tobias, but not the same plus the jack position is completely different.

Hmmm, yeah, it's as if someone made a custom copy, or maybe got an unfinished body blank from the factory? I mean, this is in Korea, perhaps the factory offloads seconds and overstock cheap? And might even have models / prototypes that never made it here to the States...
its a custom-made bass made to look like a toby pro 6. can't find the brand though
Whatever it is it looks like whoever built it knew what they were doing.
I'd suggest a cheap clone probably from China. look at AliExpress there are many similar instruments on there. They even sell Rickenback basses with the Rickenbacker label on them at under $1k.
This is a Toby Pro 6. Knob layout is different. I owned a Toby and they always had 4 knobs only. Top is different. Toby's never had tops like that in the OP. Most likely an Asian built bass.
