Any other Lace manowar folks out there?

I just put a Lace Manowar P pickup in a P bass of mine - the thing has this unique thing going on in the midrange response. I thought maybe I was just hearing things, but the FOH guy last weekend (unprompted) commented on it. It's a pretty cool sound. Not the hottest pickup out there, but it's...different. In my case, in a good way.

Anyone else got one of these things in their bass?
