Like Josh said-
He's been on the cover('98?).
...meanwhile, plenty of deserving others are still awaiting their shot at a cover(like Gary Willis, William Parker, Dave Holland, Ben Allison, etc).
311 is cool. THeir older stuff is better.
hahaha holy **** I was about to do the same thing
311 BB love!
Everyone please sign! P-Nut is an excellent bassist! He has inspired many!
Signed. Yeah he was on the cover a few years back. You can read the interview at http://archive.bassplayer.com
Wouldn't hurt to see him on the cover again.
who are u on the bb?
P-nut rules!! I'd like to see Ryan Martinie on there though. P-nut gets mad recognition, but he deserves it ...
Ryan appeared on the cover of Bass Player Mag a few months back.
That just shows how much I read the magazine . I would read it, I just never go to the magazine/books store that much anymore though...
You should, man. I go to borders often and read the magazines there. Even when you're flat broke, you can just drop in and read the mags there. I buy Bass Player Magazines on a monthly basis(duh) and ironically, the only month that I didn't get was when Ryknow was on the cover. I read that issue at Borders though.
Ive recently gotten back into 311. P-nut is one of my favorite bassists now.
i hate 311
I love P-Nut and 311, but this new album is horrible, so consequently, I hope he's not featured on BP for this album. He should have been featured on the last album. They need to go back to the old style of writing songs.
same could be said for about 99.99% of every band.
I think the new album is awesome.. I love when bands grow and don't suck. That's rare! My real reason for replying to this post is, I'm wondering what kind of Duncans P-nut uses? I love his slap tone as of recent. Thanks!
Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups
Yea.. I know.. That was my question.
There are a number of different basslines..
