I have been thinking about picking up a Geddy neck to run on a P-Bass for a while now but, I haven't been able to find any pictures of how it would really look. Let's see some P's with Block Inlay Jazz Necks / Custom Necks / etc...

  3. That would be the ideal bass for me, too. I want something with more low-end these days, but I can't stand the P necks (maybe that's too strong, but I prefer a thinner one).

Not "really" a P Bass IMO, but there's always the Fender "Big Block Precision" -

Someone did a Geddy style P Bass here using a SX neck IIRC.

2001 50th Anniversary of the Precision Body with a '72 Jazz neck. 8 lbs, killer P tone, great chunky neck.

I fail to understand the point of this thread because how could a bound block inlay neck possibly look bad, no matter what bass you put it on!?!?!

Do it. It will look awesome. End of story.
