Ok, so I want to run a mesa 400+ with an ampeg 610hlf.

On ampegs site, the cabinet says nominal is 4ohms.

On the mesa site, it says 500 watts and 2 ohm.

Will this head work for my cabinet or should I just not even bother?

If so, how would it work?

Looks like there would be no problem connecting them.

Per page 3 of user manual for 400+ you would use one of the 4 ohm jacks provided on the 400+.

You can get the 400+ manual from the Boogie website.

Yep..just plug into one of the 4 ohm jacks. I'm using a 4 ohm cab with my Mesa 400+ too.
