I usually have to get gas every 225 miles... but i filled up today after 250, and still wasn't empty... and i filled up earlier today at 235, and was still just above a quarter tank...

the first time i filled up today was after mostly city driving.... the second time was becuase i had driven out to mojave to go 4-wheeling...

so, between all the city and 4-wheeling, shouldn't i have been worse off?

I think someone's been tampering with your car. Drive it over to the police station and have it completely looked over for terrorist activity.

    Less acceleration means less consumption.

On a serious note... the lesser consumption may be due to things such as if there were strong winds during the driving times (in your favor, of course) or other weather conditions. Road heat having an effect on tire pressure...all kinds of things effect gas milage
