My in door water/ice dispenser is giving me fits and I can't find an online manual.
    Any Amana/Maytag repairmen out there?

    bump :)

any filters need to be changed? on mine, it's every 6 months...

  3. Yeah, my first guess would be the filter, too.

If you're having trouble finding a manual (which is strange, because usually the manufacturers have the manuals on their websites), just run a google search for the model of your fridge and the word 'manual' and you should be able to find something out there. :)

My expertise in refrigeration extends to me opening the door, removing the beer, and shutting the door. Last I checked, you don't put ice in beer.

    Go to www.repairclinic.com

They will help you find your issue and they have the parts to fix as well.

I used the site to fix my washer, dryer, dishwasher and fridge.

Punch it....really hard. That usually works.

    Tried the punching... ow!

Did the filter change, no help. Searched google for a manual with the model number, and it did not come up with one for me.

Now I will go to repairclinic.com.

    Thanks mpm32!

I had to replace the water feed solenoid on mine. They go bad over time and cause either no ice less ice than normal. The fill tube would also freeze. I had to wrap the tube with towels I ran under hot water until it thawed. THAT was a pain in the ass. Is it ok to say ass anymore here? LOL I'll probably get banned over an ice maker thread. :D
