Any Rumble 100 v3 Vintage Kits?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by BassBeginer64, Aug 9, 2018.

  1. Yeah too much time on my hands, where my bass should be, but I have seen so many pics of vintage fender amps, thought how great to convert a Fender 100 V3 to the Vintage look , be fun to hear folks ask, where in the heck did you get that ? images.

Fender did it already kinda with the TV15

  3. Nice! if you can find them, they seem to run well over $650 bucks if they are in good shape, I was looking for maybe a kit for $125 -$150.00 bucks, I did some research and found some of the materials are available through many places to do it, maybe a cabinet maker or a even a upholstery shop would be able to do this?

I do know why, it looks pretty damn cool.

But I would have rear mounted the amp, because it kinda destroys the vintagey look

And now you guys have got me wanting a tweed bass combo...

Yeah, they basically just added a faceboard and Tweed covering to the existing combo. You're talking major reconfiguration, almost on the scale of the suitcase Rumble. :D

There is alot of Tweed amp kits out there
Most are classic open back. Probably possible to just buy the cases and mod them to closed back and just buy the case. Weber speakers amp kits come to mind been around awhile. I'm sure there is plenty other options. But full ready to go rumble kit would be cool.
