    Hi everybody,

I'm currently playing an Italia Maranello Z bass, it's kind of a DB/EB mix because of the piezo pickup in the bridge. I absolutely love it! But here's my problem: I had an old set of Rotosound 110 flats on it, but as the silk endings runs over the nut I figured I'd better get me a new set of decent flats. I also had to run the G string around the D tuner and vice versa because all my Rotosound strings have the problem of deteriorating at the ends after I've strung 'em up once.
Problem is, I can only find Thomastiks in size 36". Does anybody know of a manufacturer that makes a heavier gauge flats in that length? 110 would be great, but 105 will do fine as well.

Thanx very much in advance, Thijs!

GHS Precision Flats most likely will fit; they will fit up to a 36" scale. The heaviest they make is 55-105. Nice strings.

I wish the 5-string X-long Chromes sets were available in a lighter guage. You only get one choice. Big or Big if you want the X-longs.

I buy alot of great strings from Big City Strings; top notch quality and service from these folks. I have a very large Washburn AB90i hollowbody, and got a set of custom La Bella Tapewound Flats 38.5" from them; it was left over from a custom order. They told me they could custom order whatever you want, but you have to wait a few weeks for it.
I highly reccommend the strings AND the company.
