Any thoughts on the SWR 350 Professional

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by flavorfactory, Mar 27, 2002.

  1. I've been using a GK RB400 for about 10 years, and it's time for a new amp. The SWR 350 is right in my price range, and the in-store tests I've done lead me to believe it's the right one for me.

Anyone have opinions good or bad about this amp?

    Hi there,

I also play the SWR Bass 350 over a Goliath III. It gives a huge sound, though it did take me a while to find the perfect EQ setting.

Let me know what you choose, I'm curious.

i had one for a little more than a year. really dug the sound - i just ran everything pretty much flat.

not super loud though with the cabs i was using. in fact - it eventually took out every one of my speakers because of power amp clipping.

    i'd almost get a used SM-400S first.

  4. Good amp, but if you're going to play in a loud band, you might need a little more juice.
