I'm trying to find a Bongo in Translucent Red to see what it looks like. I have a Stingray 4 in that color, which I like... having a hard time picturing a Bongo that color in my head.

    Thanks!

No trans colours for bongos. It wouldn't look good with the basswood.

    Erm...

I had a basswood bodied guitar that had a trans finish that looked quite nice.

Ok, that's what I though (meaning no translucents). If you go to the color chart under bongos at earnieball.com it shows Translucent Red as an option.... maybe they just show all their available colors?

There is a color chart on the music man site that has all the correct colors for each model...and trans. colors are not listed for Bongos.

You're confusing bathroom scales with toilet seats.

Okay, um, how can I make this more simple? Here you go, in words of one syllable:

Bass are a kind of fish.

    Fish have scales.

    NOW do you get it?

Yes, toilet seats (and bowls) tend to get lime scale buildup on them...

  19. Hey, I've got a toilet seat! Actually its a '77 mustang "finish tester" body...the first thing my mates all compared it to was a toilet seat...

Was it worth the £55 you think? - needs re-varnishing, pickups, sratchplate, bridge... everything really, it's just a toilet seat without the hole to sit in/on...
