I've seen the pictures...... I've heard the coundclips...... But I've yet to see one in action........ As I live on a remote island (UK) and the Barker has yet to arrive here I was wondering if any of you have video clips of your barker being played on your websites or whatever?
Andy - Lee and I briefly tossed around this idea a while back. We'll put it on the "to do" list. Stay tuned ...
At last we do have some video footage on the web. Eric Owens, a professional out of Albuquerque, is the star of this show. The other guy, an old bald fossil with a flapping jaw, seems to want you to think he knows what he is talking about. Don't be fooled. Go back and listen to Eric again, that's where it's happening: http://www.onebluemonkey.com/WinterNAMM20061.asp?id=508#
Hi All, I might go ahead and start a new thread with this too, but since the topic is already open, I just posted this. I played my fretless BVB with a 5-piece band for a cable access tv show. Best, Andy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mLSlkj4qa0
that's how i want to play when i grow up! Ron, you're just putting us all on. We know the truth: You CAN play like Andy, you just don't have the sidemen who can lay it down so you can lay it on. When we find some, or Andy can spare some of his colleagues in the B. Apple, we'll send 'em on down to the guy with the southernmost Barker Basses on the N.A. continent. That's you! And then we can double our exposure on YouTube! Kindly, Lee
As an aside, I have new set of rotos on the Brio and will be testing them in combat this weekend. Stay tuned... Joel
