Has Dan Lakin made any noises about a fretless model? How 'bout it?

I didn't see one when I was there this weekend, but he indicated that he was interested in expanding the line as far as possible. E-mail him and ask him directly. He's really good about responding to e-mail.

I think he mentioned having them in the Spring.

I find it interesting...by spring, there will be very little to differentiate between USA Lakland and MIK.

I agree, Angus. How much longer before I can get a 55-02, with a quilt laminate top, birdseye maple board and Duncan pickups, for about 1/2 of the USA model?

OTOH this will raise the bar for Korean made instruments. How many others are people willing to spend in excess of $1K for?

    Amazing.

    Hey Embellisher,

I just found out that the Skylines will be available with quilt tops in the spring so you're almost there! And you can get Duncans in them for a $100 upcharge.
