Has anybody ever bought an instrument from this website, and actually received it? Just trying to figure out what kind of scam they're running. Special Price Offer
I'm not considering buying, I'm just curious what the scam is. Are you really getting a poor quality knockoff, or are they just harvesting credit card information?
The scam is good ol' Ferengi 47th rule of aquisition. Once you have their money, you never give it back
You're trolling, I hope. I advise you to steer clear, other than pointing and laughing. At best, you lose. At worst, someone just stole your life, leaving you with years and years of financial hell, and little chance of recovery.
Interesting how all guitars are priced between $96 and $99... Yet: ‘Each customer can only buy one product at a time.’ My guess: you can buy as much as you like from this ‘shop’, but you will never receive anything.
I'm not sure what your motive is. Criminal forensics? In other words, you've already correctly identified it as a scam. Why give it any further oxygen?
At those prices, even getting a cheap knockoff seems unlikely. If a site has to brag about how "secure" its payment system is, that's a pretty good indicator that the "payment system" is actually going to steal your information and ruin your credit.
I was about to start some crosswords then I came across this and clicked on the link. I actually had some good 5 minutes of fun spotting all the typos and grammatical errors in their pages... ... BTW, to get back to the OP's doubt, has anyone wondered why there's no ©® after those brands, nor is there a single photo of an headstock? I'm quite optimistic, so my bet is that you do receive some piece of cardboard... Probably with the word "fender" (lowercase) scribbled in Sharpie, just to be clear that you get what's written...
Watch out for fake “secured” badges and PayPal links. Yes those can be faked. Scammers have learned enough to know that people will walk into anything as long as they think they can get their money back. Don’t willingly hand out your name, address, email, etc...
There was a thread like this not so long ago where a member ordered, even AFTER being told it was a scam. It was hilarious, but also sad. Exactly, the second after I block the advertiser, the same ad under a different seller pops up. FB is proliferating it!
Well, there is always someone who thinks they can get a Fender or Gibson for a hundred bucks. What did P.T. Barnum say...
I'm not going to sugarcoat it.. you have to be pretty dumb to even remotely believe a site like that in the 21st century. It's like believing all those unbelievably hot girls are initiating first contact on a dating site for any reason other than to steal your identity or banking information.
