Anybody have experience with both of these flats?

My string of choice for the last few years has been Fender 9050M (55-105) flats; however, they don't make them in five string sets nor offer a 130ish single that I can find. I like 9050Ms for their smooth lows, high tension, and untwangy G.

    I'm considering running Ernie Ball Group 1 flats (55 - 110) with a 130 B single on my new SR5.

Has any other dedicated flatwound fan used both of these strings and can comment on how they compare?

OK, I guess I'll have to be the trailblazer. I ordered the EBs tonight.

Will do, Treena - I also have a set of (used) Joe Osborn flats coming. Be warned, though - I really suck at putting sounds and tonal descriptions into words, so my comments may be less than useful!
