I recently bought a Kay bass with a sticker inside saying it was restored by Filionius. Anyone know of this person?

Not to be confused with Felonius, who does all his work from the Big House these days.

Even more confusing is his son, Paco Filonius. Doesn't play bass or flamenco; he works at Home Depot.

    Thanks for the humour!
Actually I think Elaine Filion did the repair work. I think she is in Arizona.

  5. Didn't he also write "Ruby, My Dear"?

    A Lluthier known as Filionius
    Whose sticker inside was erronious
    Did work on a Kay,
    Restored it, they say.
She resides in Flagstaff, Arizona, US.

I'm puttin' you on, now my pain is gone
    EEEEEEEHAAH!!!!

  7. ...not to be confused with Felonious, a pugnacious former merchant seaman. He became a professional boxer, billed as Felonious, a Salt. (rim shot).

Just for the hell of it I'll ask a serious question: is there any other info on the label?

    As in :

There was an old Jazzer named Thelonious
Whose relevance to this thread is erronious,
    He wrote "Ruby my Dear"
And his middle name was Sphere,
But he didn't actually rhyme with Filionius!!

    :D

No, that was some one else.

Thunk wrote "Newbie, Steer Clear" and, of course, the classic:
"Insincere Sucker in a Seersucker Suit"
