CTbass&birdsong, it is good that you never get tired of posting those pictures...i can never get tired of looking at them.
  6. Carl Thompson basses are for two kinds of people:

    1. Very rich people
    2. People that just want the Les Claypool sound. (But then again they don't know Claypool's amps, amp heads, and amp head settings)

I believe Carl Thompson makes some of the best basses and they look unique, and feels smooth. I'm lucky enough to have played one of those during bass camp last year. And a few Ron Blake basses. Speaking of Ron Blake basses and Claypool, Claypool's rainbow fretless 6 string bass's body was made by CT and neck was made by RB, but then CT and RB got into a fight, and now they each have their own bass company. hahahaha
  7. I love my basses:) ...they are my babies...and you know how a proud father likes to show the baby pictures of his children:hyper: ....I have countless pics of the family:eek: ...another TBER is putting together a site of the family!!!!
  8. IVe never been a fan of claypool(that might rise some eyebrows) I enjoy the 70s music...i appreciate ALL types but my heart is with the 70s !!!!!!:bassist:

Impressive collection !!! (I guess you already know that :smug: )

I wish to have a house large enough to hold my own collection some day ... (my baby is slowly conquering the space once dedicated to my gear .... but she´s so lovely that I don´t care too much)
  14. CTBasses&birdsong: wow, that must be what heaven looks like... does your last name start with G and ends with Ates?

I love the look of that Birdsong spalted fretted 4. Do you build those? Sorry, I don't know whow Birdsong is.

I've never been much a fan of Les 'why should I play in tune' Claypool either.
