Almost looks like an SD Curlee. Anybody else?

  7. I think Memphis is it. The S.D. Curlees I've played were nice, USA made instruments...heavy as hell and good looking in a brass and natural wood, '70's hippie kind of way.

Most likely not, but it could be pretty dang cool. Nice free score in any case!

My vote's for S.D. Curlee. Body, neck, neck joint, and headstock all look just like my Curlee guitar. Nice score!

  13. what's with the paisley strap, the missing knobs, the stuff growing out of the pickups, the wrong gauge strings, the broken tuning key and the Clemson Tiger paw????

Way back when Hondo had a copy of the SD Curlee that looked pretty close to the originals. Even had the deep-inset neck if I remember correctly.
