I was wondering if anyone had ever played through an Ampeg B328 combo? I might have a chance to pick one up but I was wondering if it is worth it. For instance, can it handle a low B? I am primarily interested in using it for smaller, coffee house type shows. Any feedback would be great!

I owned one for about 6 months. Its pretty good if you're new to bass and you're moving UP to a 328. I played it mostly in my livingroom 19X11 and it was loud enough for a quiet band with acoustic drums. its rear ported and that sucked in bigger rooms or outside because the bass would just diappear and you'd never hear it. no external speaker jack although you can unplug the internals and run an external bigger cab for bigger sound, but why carry the 2x8s around?

pretty strong for a 2x8, but not a powerhouse!
