Anybody use Basslines SJB-1 pickups?

    Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade the pickups in my MIM Jazz bass. Anybody here using the Basslines vintage jazz pickups? What do you think of them?
    This bass is strung with Fender flatwounds-I use it for the old school tones, so thats what I'm keeping in mind.
    Any opinions would be appreciated!!

    The Vintage PUPs are pretty good and are priced reasonable. (Less than $100.00 for a set). Antiquities are better sounding IMHO but more expensive.

    Either would be an improvement and get you closer to the sound you are looking for. The biggest difference you will see is the tonal difference from the bridge to neck pickups. The MIM uses the same PUP in both places.

    Thanks for the info. I've made up my mind; I'm going to drop in the vintage pups. I'll let you know how it goes when I get it done.
