Anybody ever use this string set up? Spiro E and A, Eudoxa D and Olive G?

    Just curious..

Are those Spirocores Starks, Mittels, Weichs or a combination?

I use mittels, but i guess it could be any combination of E & A spiros.

  4. I used this combo for about a year, except with Jazzer E/A (pretty close to spiros IMO). Sonically it was great. We all know how great the Oliv G is. Eudoxa D for me made the transition to the steel A about as smooth as you could hope. Ultimately, I grew tired of the tuning issues with essentially three different strings, and the Eudoxa did not match feel-wise, due to the different material of the winding.

Out of curiousity, why not Eudoxa G string? I know the OLIV is the holy grail, but people always seem to work their way from their to Eudoxas at either the D or the A. I've never heard anyone mention the Eudoxa G.
