How good are these guys? I really want to buy from Carvin, but the thought of sending something to be repaired (and paying for s/h!) makes me wanna look the other way.

Have any of you sent in an amp? If so, did they get the job done right the first time?

    Thank you

If you move to San Diego, you won't have to ship their stuff back.
  3. I live about an hour away from one of the carvin stores in So. California so I didn't have to ship my amp to them when something went wrong.

I took in an R1000 and they did get it fixed right the first time, had it back to me in 2 or 3 weeks, and gave me an R600 (it was all they had open on the floor) as a loaner so I didn't have to stop playing for those weeks.

All in all I don't think you have to worry.
