Anyone else find those japanese doll instruments very interesting?

Is it just me or are those tiny things interesting?

    I most certainly can.
    Dolls and their instruments
    Pick your year.

It actually looks fun making them too... I wouldn't mind having a couple mini basses... closest I'll get until I can actually afford the real deal. :D

I got one of those Metallica action figures of Jason Newsted.

I wish I had gotten the KISS ones of Gene Simmons.

Hot Wheels makes a toy car called, "Twang Thang" which has an instrument, probably meant to be a guitar, but the neck is so long and has only four strings (not accounting for attention to detail orlack of) that it has to be a bass running up each side..

That's a lot of detail. Do you have to assemble and paint the instrument yourself? If so, I hope they come with a microscope.
